Marvel Rivals is yet another hero shooter that has managed to draw in a large crowd. Through multiple beta tests and a successful launch, it looks like the game could stick around for a while. Of course, if you are new to the game, you will want to know how everything works. There are a few types of in-game currencies you can get your hands on with one of them being Units. So what are Units in Marvel Rivals and how do you get them? Let’s break that down.
What are Units in Marvel Rivals?
Units are a type of in-game currency that many are familiar with if they played the open beta. This is the main currency that appears as blue chips in the upper right corner of the screen and is used to purchase in-game items. These items include skins and bundles from the shop. Skins typically cost around 2,200 Units and bundles typically cost 3,500.
How to obtain Units in Marvel Rivals
Units are obtained by completing in-game achievements and events but the main way you will unlock them is by progressing through the season pass. Just like other season passes, the in-game currency is available as an unlock as you progress through the season. The more you play, the more experience you will gain, and the more Units you will earn.
What is Lattice in Marvel Rivals and how do you obtain it?
Lattice is the other in-game currency in Marvel Rivals. Unlike Units, you cannot get this currency for free; you will instead need to purchase it with real money. When you select Lattice in the upper-right corner of the main menu, it will take you to the in-game store where you can purchase the currency. The price you will pay varies depending on the amount of Lattice you want. For instance, 100 Lattice costs $0.99 but 2,180 Lattice costs $19.99. Lattice is used to purchase in-game items as well but is mostly for luxury items such as the Luxury Battlepass.
