Disney Dreamlight Valley has been getting constant updates since it was released in early access back in 2022. Since then, we have seen multiple residents be added to the valley such as the Monster’s Inc. crew, Buzz and Woody from Toy Story, and even Daisy Duck in the latest update. After revealing the roadmap for the first half for 2024, many have been excited about the new villagers coming to the valley this year. While it wasn’t directly said at first, the roadmap hinted at Mulan being added to the game in mid-summer. This guess has turned out to be correct as we have the first look at The Lucky Dragon DLC for Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Announced on the official Dreamlight Valley X Page, Gameloft has shown off Mulan from the movie sharing the same name as the character. Mulan has been a much-requested character for some time now and it is nice to see her finally hit the valley in the upcoming update. Along with Mulan, we got a glimpse at another character joining the valley; Mushu. Due to fan requests, Mushu will be joining Mulan in The Lucky Dragon update.
Along with the announcement, the devs stated in the post that there will be a “week full of previews for our next update,” so we can expect more to be shown off soon about the upcoming content. In the small preview video, we can see some items that are coming with the update such as Mulan’s home, a cherry tree, and what appear to be the targets used for shooting arrows in the movie.
The update will come with a new Star Path that is sure to be full of fun items you can obtain for completing tasks around the valley. The Lucky Dragon update for Disney Dreamlight Valley is a free update that is coming on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Get ready for a brand new adventure and even more items to unlock.
