The Elden Ring Nightreign beta went off with only a slight hiccup on PlayStation. With that ironed out, players everywhere could get into the game and enjoy their exploration of the land of Limveld. There was a small pool of bosses for players to test out which included the Centipede Demon from Dark Souls, a combo Demi-Human Queen and Demi-Human Swordmaster, Morgott, a three-headed dog named Gladius, and a new unforgivable gank fight. That’s right, Elden Ring Nightreign has a new gank fight that players have to worry about.
Overall, the Elden Ring Nightreign beta was a lot of fun, and many players enjoyed it. Luckily, many were able to get in, and they didn’t need to resort to paying for it. Unfortunately, many players were not prepared for one of the worst gank fights in Souls history.
Elden Ring Nightreign brings in a new gank fight
One of the bosses that could appear during night two in the Elden Ring Nightreign beta test is a gank fight involving the Draconic Tree Sentinel – yes the one that guards your access to Leyndell, and two Royal Cavalrymen. If it wasn’t bad enough having the Tree Sentinel launching fireballs at you and calling down lightning strikes, you need to worry about two cavalrymen with tanky horses that don’t fully take damage until they are thrown off their mounts.
User Fluffy_Solution_5153 called out this fight on the Nightreign Subreddit saying, “They need to nerf this fight.” While the initial post might seem dramatic, many agree that this fight is pretty bad.
One user responded, “The horses are very tanky. Coupled with the aggressive sentinel and the spectral horse knight summons this change is NECESSARY. Bandai just sent out feedback emails.” Some called out the Draconic Tree Sentinel’s lightning strikes as being unfair because they can strike anyone, even if you are focused on one of the cavalrymen. One user even said that this boss is “harder than the final boss.” Something needs to be changed. We are all for lowering the health of the horses or maybe the Tree Sentinel’s a bit to make it more fair.
