It is officially the one-year anniversary of Helldivers 2! Congratulations Helldivers for making it this far. We have seen countless changes in the game, the rise of Sony’s greed, the pushback of many players, and so much more. Through it all, Arrowhead has remained on the side of the players, keeping us informed and always trying its best to do what is right for the players. As a means of celebrating the anniversary, the Helldivers 2 devs have granted all players a free armor set.
There has been much news for Helldivers 2 recently with a leak confirming a potential collaboration with Warhammer 40K. The Terminid also appear to be morphing as evidence of “spore bugs” has been found.
Arrowhead gifts new armor set to Helldivers 2 players for anniversary
Today, Arrowhead made the announcement that it would be gifting players a new armor set to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Helldivers 2. The new armor set is called the B-22 Model Citizen and it is a reimagined version of the B-01 Tactical Armor from the base game. The announcement came from the Helldivers 2 X page in a statement that reads, “In recognition of the Helldivers’ service, bravery, and obedient fulfillment of their duty over the past year, High Commans has authorized the bequeathment of a commemorative gift to all Super Destroyers. Helldivers may accept their gift with immense gratitude at their Armory.”
The B-22 Model Citizen is a blue armor set with shining chrome plates and helmet as well as a sheen fabric that shines in the light. It has an armor rating of 100, speed of 500, and stamina regen of 100. It also comes with the Democracy Protects passive ability which gives players a 50% chance to not die when taking lethal damage. The passive also prevents all damage from bleeding if your chest hemorrhages. Overall, it is not a bad way to celebrate the game’s first anniversary. For democracy!
