The world eagerly awaits a potential Nintendo Switch 2 reveal later this week. At the same time there are some questions around what a potential year one for the Nintendo Switch 2 could look like. According to a new report, Nintendo could already be working swiftly to secure triple A support for the Switch 2 from the likes of Konami, Square Enix, and Ubisoft.
According to known video game leaker Nate The Hate, he is reporting that Konami is working on a port of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater for the Switch 2. Along with that title, Square Enix also looks to bring Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth to the Switch 2 in the near future. Out of all developers Ubisoft looks to be a pretty big supporter of the Switch 2 by porting over Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Shadows but it is worth noting Shadows may not be ready in time for the systems launch. Nate’s report also goes on to claim that Ubisoft is looking to bring over “more than half a dozen games for the Switch 2” which includes titles from the The Division series, Rainbow Six Siege, and a potential compilation of the Mario + Rabbids games and their DLCs.
That’s not all for the Switch 2 triple A hype, as it was not too long ago where Nate The Hate also claimed that Microsoft may be looking to bring Halo: The Master Chief Collection along with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 to the Switch 2 and PS5 in 2025. There have also been reports that Red Dead Redemption 2 may be yet another highly anticipated title we see on the Switch 2 which would really shake things up in the world of Nintendo. With what appears to be a strong lineup of not only first party games but third party games as well, the Nintendo Switch 2 might be on track to have a very strong launch lineup of games this year.
