As the game comes to a close, again, you hear her somewhat shrill voice enter your mind. “Well, you can’t expect to win’em all.” Many have grown tired of hearing Galacta yell at you to push the objective or scream about your “BIG WIN!” Wouldn’t it be nice to have a change of pace and hear someone else for once? Well, some big names are all on the list of announcers Marvel Rivals players would love to hear instead of Galacta. Can we get some announcer packs?
Recently, Marvel Rivals players were told when The Thing and Human Torch will finally make an appearance in the game. After this announcement, fan backlash caused NetEase to pull a 180 on mid-season rank resets, stopping them completely.
Marvel Rivals players ask for announcer packs
One Marvel Rivals player going by Historical_Cable_450 on Reddit recently posted about the idea of adding different announcers to the game. Many jumped on the idea of this as the first announcer asked for is popular journalist and hater of Spider-Man J. Jonah Jameson. Imagine getting yelled out by J. K. Simmons. There could even be special voice lines for when Spider-Man is in the game. Maybe something like, “There goes that web-slinging menace,” or “I need Parker to get pictures of this criminal activity!”
Other names that were dropped as possible announcers include Jarvis – Iron Man’s AI assistant, and The Watcher – a cosmic being who watches over the multiverse. Both are solid choices as Jarvis would offer a more mellow experience and The Watcher could have special insight into the different characters. Another name that was dropped is Samuel Jackson coming in to play the role of Nick Fury once more to yell at your teammates about why they aren’t pushing the vehicle. Anything to give us a bit of a break from the standard Marvel Rivals announcer voice.
