Nintendo continues their streak of leaks when it comes to the Nintendo Switch 2 and this time the leaks are coming out of CES 2025. For those not in the loop, CES is the biggest tech event of the year and is currently being held in Las Vegas. At this event many tech companies like to show off all of the latest and greatest tech, which apparently happens to include a massive wave of alleged Nintendo Switch 2 accessories.
While at CES the third party accessory maker Genki is taking to the show floor with their latest and great Switch 2 accessories. As seen in this rather lengthy X thread, Centro Leaks shows off their catalog of new pro controllers and joy-cons. The pro controllers by Genki offer up a ton of different styles that range from a rather subtle black controller with a few RGB details baked in to a rather eye-catching transparent controller that takes us back to the days of the N64 and its wave of timeless transparent controllers and consoles.
At first Centro Leaks also noted that these accessories are being shown behind closed doors at CES. But they’ve since updated the thread to indicate that they are indeed showing all of this off on the actual show floor that’s open to the general public.
Now another key element to this story was the picture that showed off what appears to be the console itself. But Centro leaks made note here that the model being shown is just a 3D printed dummy model whose primary use is to showcase the accessories. Along with this new wave of Switch 2 leaks, an X user asked Nintendo Prime if the Switch 2 logo that was used in the booklet in question was the finalized logo and he’s since replied claiming that is not the case.
