Recently, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. The official website for the game is counting down a big announcement for less than 24 hours from now, when we are expected to have the game fully revealed with gameplay and more information. We have a source who says that the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 release date is set for early access deluxe owners on July 8, with standard edition players on July 11. It will release on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One and Series X/S.
As stated above, the Tony Hawk remaster hype has been gaining a lot of steam. Pro boarder Tyshawn Jones revealed that he is included as a playable skater in an upcoming remaster just days before the site started its countdown. Additionally, blurred images of the game’s cover art have been making their pass on social media sites over the weekend.
For years, fans of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater franchise have been shouting from the rooftops for a remake of the series’ third and fourth entries. Vicarious Visions developed the remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 to commercial and critical success. However, reports following that release said that another bout into the next games was cancelled as the dev team were moved to help Call of Duty development by Activision. The official site now shows Iron Galaxy as the developer of the next game.
There is a ton of smoke surrounding the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 release date. Luckily, we don’t have very long to wait to see gameplay. What once was thought to be something left in the past could be on its way back.
